Mole Control !
Here at Pest Control Direct we have a wide selection of Mole traps.
Moles are small, burrowing mammals that can cause damage to lawns, gardens, and other areas of your property. Moles are usually most active during early morning and late afternoon.
If you’re dealing with mole problems, here are some steps you can take to manage them:
- Identify mole activity: Look for raised ridges or tunnels in your lawn or garden, which are signs of mole activity. Moles create tunnels as they search for food, such as insects and earthworms. Active tunnels are typically straight and used frequently by the mole.
- Remove food sources: Moles are attracted to areas with abundant food sources. Take steps to reduce the availability of their food by controlling insects and grubs in your lawn and garden, which are common food sources for moles.
- Trapping: You can use mole traps to catch moles. There are different types of mole traps available, including tunnel traps and Scissor traps. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions carefully and place the traps in active mole tunnels for the best chance of success. Put on gloves to avoid transferring human scent to the trap, which may deter moles. Use soil or turf to cover the hole and trap, making sure the trap is fully concealed and the mole cannot see or avoid it. Be careful not to disturb the trap or trigger while covering the hole.
