The WCS TUBE TRAP is a quality killing trap originally designed in the 1980’s for trapping mink in America. New & improved ARMOR-COATED WCS™ Tube Trap. This trap is treated with an electro-plating process turning it olive drab in color and highly rust resistant. No need to dip, dye, or spray paint these traps. Just pull them out of the box and use them. They last for years.
The TUBE TRAP’s great advantage is that it incorporates a tunnel making it easy for operatives to comply with the UK’s requirement regarding tunnel protection. This tunnel also has the added advantage that catches are hidden from public view. The TUBE TRAP can be used either baited or un-baited, the trap itself acting as an attractant to inquisitive targets, or being sited as a ‘run-through’.
Correct effective trap protection is becoming an important consideration for all UK trappers regardless of their quarry target. We recently decided that this trap was worth another look and worked with its American manufacturer to produce a more powerful and effective variation for the UK market. The resulting trap has been approved by DEFRA and now appears on the schedule of approved spring traps to use in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
This trap is ideal for use in roof voids where other animals will not be threatened. Setting is a little complicated at first but once you get the hang of it, you should not have too much of a problem but please BE VERY CAREFUL when setting as this trap could remove some fingers!
Trap comes with monkey nuts, place these either side of the treadle or, put peanut butter on the roof of the trap directly above the treadle, this will stick to the roof of the trap fairly well, you only need a small blob.
The TUBE TRAP is a ‘quality’ trap, constructed from a 380mm long, 21-gauge steel tube of 114mm dia, powered by a powerful double torsion spring. All parts are precision cut by laser, so there are no sharp edges to contend with. It has a pale green plated finish to give an externally-rust-protected structure. The English approved version has a considerably more powerful spring than it’s American counterpart and is additionally fitted with two ‘killing bars’ inside the tube.

IMPORTANT:  Please stake down the trap to minimize possibility of theft by a larger animal, i.e., Foxes

Above is an option to add end tube caps: WCS Tube trap end caps are plastic end caps which fit over the end of the WCS Tube trap, designed to prevent non target species from entering the trap. They come without holes so you can cut whatever size hole you need

SHIPPING TERMS

1. Although we offer a Next Day delivery there is not a 100% Guarantee that your order will be delivered next day, we always despatch on time but couriers don’t always deliver. We cannot offer any refunds if it is a day late.

2. In the unusual event where delivery is repeatedly refused or no effort is made to accept delivery, we reserve the right to pass delivery and return courier costs to the customer.

3. Orders despatched on Friday will not be delivered on Saturday unless the Saturday delivery option is selected at checkout.

4. Back orders: If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

5. Royal Mail 2nd class deliveries may take over 5 days at busy times. We have to allow up to 14 days for the order to be delivered before we can resend or refund to declare it as lost.

6. Our leave safe policy is at the responsibility of the homeowner if a specific place has been given and delivered to, should it be stolen. If we have chosen to leave safe and not been instructed to by our customer, then we take responsibility should it be stolen.
